My name is Joshua Reafsnyder. Welcome to my site.
In 2008 I graduated with a degree in Cinema Production from San Francisco State. After college I went on to be a manager at Radio Shack where I had been working as a sales associate as I went through school. After Radio Shack I went on to manage a local computer repair shop for a while. After spending some time working for Nevada Joint Union High School District as a Technical Services Technician II I applied and received my Preliminary Teaching Credential and am now teaching at Natomas Gateways Middle School.
Photography and film continues to be a hobby and passion of mine, and in 2013 along with the assistance of my wife we started Reafsnyder Video Productions. The business has continued to grow and expand over the last couple of years. Now 2016 has brought a couple of exciting new changes for both the business and me personally.
Both my job with the school district and budding business have rekindled the passion inside of me and reminded me of two things. The first, is of course how much I enjoy working with digital media, wither it is photography, video, or webpage design. The second, is how much I enjoy seeing that spark in others and helping them fan the embers and grow their passion. So in December of 2015 I applied for my Preliminary CTE Teaching Credential, and was awarded it shortly there after. I am now credentialed to teach in both the area of Arts, Media and Entertainment, as well as in the area of Information and Communication Technology. With my position at Natomas Gateways Middle School I now teach classes in Computer Applications, Engineering (Design/Robotics), and Video Productions.
There has been new changes in the business as well. Looking back over the past years, we evaluated what we do really well, and what we are most passionate about. As a result we have decided to make a pivot in direction of our business and focus on services geared towards small business, corporations, and individuals in their internet marketing endeavors.
